Nutrition Plans
Why is nutrition important ?
Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, the right diet can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases, aches and pains and promote your overall health.
Even though our knowledge of the importance of nutrition has developed, the prevalence of chronic diseases and obesity is on the increase.
Some medical journals now believe that we are at the tipping point of history whereby the next generation will live shorter life spans than the present generation. It should be noted as well that it is not about creating a longer life but creating a vibrant and happy life for as long as possible.
Not just free from disease, but free from the daily chronic symptoms that so many people battle with these days. How we structure our lifestyles, with proper nutrition, health habit discipline, and exercise programming, will have a great influence on personal health, and longevity.
My clients include those with ongoing chronic health issues, performance or physique goals, and sometimes a mixture

Elderly Health
- As we age, our nutritional needs change and so do our appetites.
- You may find you have less energy and more muscle or joint problems as you get older. As a result, you may become less mobile and burn fewer calories through physical activity. You may also lose muscle mass. This causes your metabolism to slow down, lowering your calorific needs.
- Malnutrition puts you at risk of becoming overweight or underweight. It can weaken your muscles and bones and can often leave you vulnerable to disease. Medical conditions, medication, appetite, oral health and your immune system are all important considerations for maintaining good health
